Summary of Changes from Previous Version

• Acknowledgement that the FITSA applies broadly, however the key controls of this procedure only apply to Academic Staff and Nominated Senior Staff, with the disclosure tool remaining open to all UQ staff (Clauses 5 and 9);
• Expansion of consequences of non-compliance with the FITSA to show the gravity of these offences (Clause 8);
• Clarification that a registrant should inform the University if they become aware when their registered information changes, so that the University can update the external register accordingly and within the appropriate timeframe (Clause 17b);
• Inclusion of weblink to the FITS Factsheet 10 Disclosures in communications activity, where UQ staff can go for more information or assistance (Clause 17d);
• Removal of the clause stating that UQ's registrable activities will be audited annually, and replace with reference to OMIT providing regular oversight of registrable activities (Clause 23); and
• Updates to policies and legislation throughout.
