Summary of Changes from Previous Version
• Including a question in the staff recruitment and HDR student admissions process to help determine whether individuals may have a connection to a sanctioned country that warrants assessment.
• To only require the input of Associate Deans (Research) and Institute Deputy Directors (Research) where the International Safeguards team deems the case to be higher risk.
• To transfer responsibility for sanctions assessment for HDR students from the Graduate School to the International Safeguards team, who will in turn provide a recommendation to the Graduate School.
